Hell On Wheels Volunteers Needed!

Thanks to those who have volunteered to help the Cheyenne Regulators put on the next Hell On Wheels. We have all positions filled but will still need volunteers to help with miscellaneous duties, setup, prop building, painting, etc.

We are looking for Belt Buckle design for this years Hell On Wheels. So all you artistic cowboys out there please consider designing a belt buckle and send it to Fightn Joe Baker as soon as possible so we can get them ordered.

We still need a few more stage writers to step forward.
The Theme for this years Hell On Wheels is "Perils of the Prairies". A list of possible stages:
  1. Homestead attack
  2. Stagecoach robbery - Fightn Joe Baker
  3. Train Robbery
  4. Claim Jumper
  5. Indian Attack on a wagon train
(The match director would really like someone to take this on)
  6. Indian Attack the Fort - Captain Jack Storm
  7. Cattle vs. Sheep wars
  8. Cattle rustlers - Winyan and CSM
  9. Wayside Inn (Benders)
  10. Buffalo Stampede - Kid Bucklin and Sixty-Nine Cent Wizard
  11. Alfred Packer
This list is not all inclusive. People are encouraged to come up with something else if they prefer. They are just suggestions. Stages need to be written to be right and left hand friendly, some with choices of which gun to start with (remember not to end with rifle), down range movement is a plus keeping in mind the age of some of our shooters.

Stage writers are responsible for writing, building, setting up and tearing down the stage. Please let Fightn' Joe know what assistance you will need well in advance. Berms will be given on a first come first served basis so let us know asap. Need to be turned in right away so they can be fully reviewed and adjusted as necessary. Reimbursement for building materials will be given when receipts are turned in to Nevada Sweet. All stage writers will receive a free HOW registration to shoot. We would like to make this the most memorable HOW ever so please feel free to be very creative with props. Please keep in mind that props need to be bolted together in sections for easy set up and tear down. All props that we reimburse the building cost for become the property of the Cheyenne Regulators.

For more information come to the next Cheyenne Regulators monthly meeting starting at 7:45pm at the Plains Hotel
or contact the Hell On Wheels match director Jerry Baker aka FightnJoe at 307-220-5222 or by fightnjoebaker@msn.com.
