Cheyenne Regulators Shooting Range Rules

Any violation of these rules may cause termination of membership.

  1. The Cheyenne Regulators reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone.
  2. Key Cards are the property of the Cheyenne Regulators, replacement cards will be issued at a charge of $10.00 each.
  3. Use of the key card acknowledges understanding and acceptance of these rules
  4. All FEDERAL, STATE and LOCAL firearms laws must be obeyed.
  5. Persons under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or mind-altering substances are not permitted in shooting area.
  6. Eye and ear protection are required in shooting area.
  7. The RANGE MASTER and RANGE MARSHALS reserve the right to inspect any firearm and/or ammunition.
  8. Any person on the range can be asked and MUST PROVIDE a valid membership card and photo I.D.
  9. Members may bring only one guest at a time. (observers are guests)
  10. Each member is responsible for their actions and the actions of their guest.
  11. Pets are to be supervised or restrained.
  12. Shooting times are sunrise to sunset.
  13. Members must clean up after themselves. Remove targets, spent brass, shotgun hulls and any trash.
  14. NO glass targets or glass containers in the shooting area.
  15. No shooting over berms.
  16. No armor piercing bullets, incendiary bullets, exploding targets, 50 BMG or larger except black powder muzzle loading firearms.
  17. Members may shoot at steel targets that have been designated by THE CHEYENNE REGULATORS.
  18. Obey all posted signs.
  19. Established firing line on bay 1,2,3; only targets down range no tables allowed down range.  No established firing line on bay 4,5,6; members must return any tables and/or chairs up range on these bays.
  20. Supply your own targets and stands. Targets are not to be posted on 2 X 4’s or ties.
  21. Firearms NOT on firing line must be in a safe configuration.
  22. Firearms ON the firing line must be made safe prior to proceeding down range.
  23. Livestock may be moved from shooting area (SLOWLY).
  24. The six bays East of the flagpole are for COWBOY ACTION ONLY!
  25. At the LONG RANGE shooting will be done from the firing line only.
  26. Locked gates must be locked and closed gates must be closed after passage.
  27. THE CHEYENNE REGULATORS SHOOTING RANGE is private property and all unauthorized persons are considered trespassing.
